PUEBLARTE, YOUR VIRTUAL GALLERY is a product of IGNACIO and IRENE DE CARBALLO.

This art couple decided to embrace the task of representing FERNANDO CARBALLO, Costa Rican plastic master.

Beautiful responsibility: PUEBLARTE VIRTUAL GALLERY, it is just a reality.

Ignacio Carballo, PUEBLARTE’s director, besides being Carballo’s oldest son, he studied Scenic arts, then he travels to South America, to the world’s half, Ecuador, and it is there where he organizes Costa Ricans artists’ expositions in different areas of Ecuador’s capital, as a representative of talented youngsters that today are well known: D. Matamoros, A. Gómez, S. González, among others.

He then cooperates in the Latin American Art Gallery, Metropolitan Art Gallery, and in the Art Center Museum, all of them located in Quito. There he made important collaborations that were well known at International Fairs, just as shows and auctions of important Ecuadorian painters such as Guayasamín, Kingman y Tábara.

Then he decides along Irene to found PUEBLARTE’S VIRTUAL GALLERY as the official gallery of Fernando Carballo, “PUEBLARTE” is also a tribute to the town where the artist was born: “La Puebla”, in his hometown Cartago.
